Storyhorse Documentary Theater presents Village Kind, a performance based on conversations and historical documents. Written by Jeremy Davidson and Produced by Jeremy Davidson & Mary Stuart Masterson.
Storyhorse is a documentary theater project based in the Hudson Valley. Our stories are inspired by transcribed conversations with the people of our communities, historical documents and other primary sources. The stories are brought to life by actors in multimedia staged readings.
These performances of Village Kind will be going directly to benefit the Tivoli Firehouse Captial Campaign to support the much needed expansion. The Tivoli Firehouse has been serving Tivoli and our surrounding communities of Red Hook, Clermont and Germantown for over 100 years and we are grateful to all the volunteers for their dedicated service in fire response, mutal aid and medical care.
Storyhorse is grateful to David Szlasa for projection design and to Evan Garcia- Renart for the score.
